Vertex Energy, Inc. is a publicly traded company that trades on the over the counter bulletin board under the symbol VTNR.  We became a public company through our merger with World Waste Technologies, Inc. (see “About Us; History”) in April of 2009.  It is our intention to begin trading on a national exchange at such time that we meet the necessary criteria set by the various relevant exchanges.
